Sprite Fight 2000 - The Story
The year is 2000 A.D. - the start of a new millenium. Terrorism is ravaging the free world. A group of religious
fanatics, the Ahlzaq Jihaz, has been credited with dozens of attacks on the world's major cities, many of which
have involved the use of a new bio-nuclear weapon, which the Ahlzaq Jihaz have been using more and more often.
Hundreds of thousands have been killed instantly, but they were the fortunate ones. Countless others who survived
the blasts have begun to experience grizzly side effects from exposure to the bio-nuclear radiation.
Several of those exposed are beginning to experience cellular mutation, resulting in grotesque disfigurement,
super-human powers, and other undocumented side effects. Most of these mutated beings have since gone insane,
and are using there new found abilities for evil and destruction. The Ahlzaq Jihaz, realizing the terrible power of
this new bio-nuclear energy, have started experimenting with the new technology by exposing their own soldiers
to the radiation with the hope of producing an army of super-human warriors for their war on humanity. The results
of this recent series of events is that the world is on the brink of total war, as normal humans fight for survival
against the new race of mutants led by the Ahlzaq Jihaz.
As a last hope for survival, the leaders of the world have pooled together their resources to assemble their own
group of mutant warriors, recruiting victims of the attacks who were able to maintain their sanity during the
terrible mutation phase, and now wish to use their powers for good. This group of warriors are known as the
S.P.R.T.E., or Soldiers for the Preservation of the Remaining Tenants of Earth (pronounced 'sprite'). The
Sprite, as they are known, under the guidance of their leader known as the 'Warlock', must seek out and destroy
these mutant renegades from the human race, as well as the members of the terrorist society of the Ahlzaq Jihaz.
Who will reign over the earth of the 21st century? Human beings, or the Ahlzaq Jihaz and their army of
bio-nuclear mutants? You decide!
